Our Vision
Do not erase the designs the child makes in the soft wax of his inner life. The child wants to do something sensible. These words reveal the child’s inner needs: “Help me to do it alone” - Dr M Montessori

I firmly believe that play and learning mutually support one another and how teachers connect learning goals to children’s play. Whether solitary, dramatic, parallel, social, cooperative, onlooker, object, fantasy, physical, constructive, or games with rules, play, in all of its forms, is a teaching practice that optimally facilitates young children’s development and learning.
By maximizing children’s choice, promoting wonder and enthusiasm for learning, and leveraging joy, playful learning pedagogies support development across content areas and increase learning relative to more didactic methods.

We have specially designed the Birdy's Nest's environment for our children. It is a world scaled down to a child's size with low shelves that showcase a wealth of learning materials. The adult-in-charge move unobtrusively through this child-space, working with individual children or small groups, assisting each according to their needs.

Storytelling is an essential part of learning for kids from a young age. Stories help children develop creative and critical thinking that is instrumental for better learning all through life.
I love learning about different teaching strategies and narrating stories that helps a child understand / build perspectives that can shape them as a fine individual. The great thing about being in education is that there is always something new to learn. As educators, we learn from children and co-workers on a daily basis.

We at BN believe there is nothing more precious than being a part of a child’s journey of growth and discovery. Their energy and spontaneity helps to keep the child in us alive.
We are about building and nurturing a bond for life with the child and his world in entirety. Our vision is to create a culture where parents and teachers are on the same side.

We offer FREEDOM with DISCIPLINE. Our children do not do what they like but THEY LIKE WHAT THEY DO.

The learning journey for every person begins in childhood. Our little ones are bright, capable individuals that have so much to contribute!
As teachers, our role is to design and facilitate experiences that allow children to discover things in their own time and in their own way. There is nothing better than seeing the look on children’s faces when they learn something new!
I love that each day is different. Each age group has new adventurers for children to learn. I love watching them grow and learn new things. It is always amazing how much children develop, even in a few weeks.
My role as a supervisor entails communicating organizational needs, oversee staff performances, provide guidance along with identifying developmental needs of the system.
